Island Hut


We are going to start with our most recent find, a new family run Hawaiian restaurant that just opened up along our walk to the ferry. Honestly, how can you turn down a place called "Island Hut"? It screams tasty goodness here.



The location and restaurant is humble and intimate. A simple place where you are paying for the food and not the fancy chairs. The family works together to bring Hawaiian and other island foods to your table. The mom who waited on me told me all about her favorite dishes, which kid makes them best and how much she loves rolling the lumpia with her grandkids at night. She even leaned over and whispered, "That's why they are all different shapes and sizes."
